But if I am the dealer and I know some one will but it for $50K, you're damn right I'm gonna mark it up :) People get all bent out of shape saying that the dealer is ripping people off. They are not. If someone pays that price without shopping around or haggling, then they don't care about the price. They are not being ripped off. The dealer isn't hiding anything, they markup is clearly stated. Youd don't want it, don't buy it. The thing is, that car is going to be very popular. Dealers see that as an opportunity to pad the bottom line. The price will come down if people don;t pay it. Simple as that.
